Wow, I can’t believe that summer is almost here, can you? In just a few short weeks, kids will be out of school and looking for fun things to do. There’s the old standby of swimming but unless you own a pool or live somewhere with free pool access, that can get expensive. You could let your kids veg out watching TV or playing video games but what about something active and fun? Oh and did I mention FREE?

AMF summer unpluggedWhat am I talking about? AMF has a program called Summer Unplugged. After you register (it’s FREE), AMF will email you free bowling vouchers every week. These vouchers are good for 2 free games per child (under 15 years old) per day. All you have to pay for is shoe rental. If your family loves bowling, I would suggest picking up bowling shoes for everyone. They’re typically under $30 per pair and pay themselves off very quickly. The program starts May 14th and ends on Labor day. There’s no need to wait for May 14th to join, you can sign up now!

AMF summer passSo what if you have older kids or no kids at all? AMF still has you covered! They have the Summer Pass program which is $29.95 and covers up to 4 family members 16 and older. You get the same deal as the Summer Unplugged program – 2 free games of bowling per day per person. If you have 4 people over the age of 16 in your family, that’s only $7.50 per person for an entire summer of bowling. You still have to pay for shoe rental (or bring your own) but that’s still an amazing deal. The weekly passes will be emailed starting on May 14th but you can sign up now.

Do you know of any other great deals for summer fun? We love going to the zoo and museums but sometimes they’re just so expensive! The AMF Summer Pass is a godsend when you’re on a budget. Want more bowling deals? Follow AMF on Facebook or Twitter.

Disclosure: I participated in this campaign as a member of One2One Network and am eligible for a prize drawing in exchange for sharing this deal.  All opinions stated in the post are my own.
