impress press on nailsAnother product I received from Influenster was imPRESS Press-On Manicure. I received the color “Working Girl” which is a black and silver crackle pattern – very unique for press-on nails. Now I usually don’t wear fake nails because they’re uncomfortable – they pull and hurt anytime you try to do anything “normal” like zip up your pants or pick up a box. I seriously considered just not testing these and giving them away for Christmas but I tried them anyway.

They really were quick and easy to apply. All you do is open the “bottle” and find the sizes you need. I laid mine out in the order they need to go:

Then, you wipe your nails down with an included prep pad. I’m guessing this cleans the nails and removes oils so the press-on nails adhere better. After that, you start peeling the plastic off the nail (there’s a tab to grab) and then press on the nails. I started on my pinkies and moved my way in. It was VERY quick and easy! Here’s a picture of the finished product:

Now, I can’t attest to the staying power because I peeled these suckers off pretty quickly after putting them on (again, I hate fake nails) but I can say they were easy to remove. They didn’t hurt like some nails do when you remove them. I can also say that the ImPRESS nails were flexible and didn’t feel like they would be painful for everyday use. I would have kept wearing them but unfortunately I couldn’t let go of my past experience with press-on nails to enjoy these. There is enough left in the container to try again so I will definitely give it another shot.

imPress Manicure retails for $5.99 for colors and $7.99 for patterns, and is available at CVS, Rite Aid, Duane Reade, KMart, Walgreens, Walmart and more. 1. My daughter was telling me these existed. I didn’t realize fake nails pulled, ouch! But I might give these a try and see what I think!

  2. I love press on nails! Haven’t gotten to wear them in a loooong time. I will be looking into these. Thanks for reminding me of something I used to love to do!
